I was seriously still reeling from the end of the season two premiere of Dark Matter when I was able to sit down and watch the latest episode, Kill Them All. Seriously that ending was not something I was expecting at all so with that in mind I have been preparing myself for literally anything to happen as the rest of this season unfolds. Instead of opening with the crew of the Raza itself we instead open in a room with a high status woman who is pleased to learn that Five has been collected. That’s all we get from her before we jump to a meeting with Six and Chief Inspector Shaddick.
She is interrogating Six, even though she might be pretending that she’s just asking questions about what happened with the Raza, and she insists that she knows he and the others have been involved in a number of deaths and illegal activities, including illegal tech passing. Shaddick also talks with Five and says that she assumes she is a stowaway and that she can’t find anyone who cares what happens to her. Though she tries to get Five to give up everything on everyone from the Raza she is no match for Five’s loyalty and sass. Even after threatening to lock her away for life Five gives her nothing. Back in the prison, Nyx sits down with Two, Three, and Four and tells them in order to get out that they need a shuttle and she knows the supply run schedule for the next month. She’s dealing contraband and uses that to get information. Before they can talk much more the three Raza members are put on waste disposal duty. This work assignment is definitely not okay. After they wheel the trash into the incinerator they are suddenly locked inside.

Before they get burned to a crisp they get let out, turns out this is a move by the warden to get rid of them. The only reason they didn’t die is because Arax intervened. He says that now those three are under his control. Six has been called in to deal with Android, who still refuses to give up any information about the crew of the Raza. Shaddick is trying to get information out of Two, Three, and Four, but while she might be offering everyone a deal in connection to the planet killer, none of them are helping her. Three is interested to hear what she has to say, but he doesn’t go beyond listening to her offer. It turns out that Four has been convicted of his crimes in his home court and they will take him unless Shaddick works something out. Three has a surprise visitor, who not even the warden can stop from coming by, Commander Truffault says that if they come clean about what happens they’ll all be fine. There are so many attempts at cover ups happening right now, the Raza crew is in some very serious crap this season. Also Three has a magic tech eye that Truffault can just casually interface with. After the eye thing goes Three asks Nyx for a tube of lipstick, which he uses to start secretly writing under his mattress.

Android is in serious danger in her private interrogation room. They have hooked her up to some sort of device that hacks into her mind directly. Three has grabbed Four and Two and he shows them what flashed through his eye. Truffault gave him the entire schematic for the prison, which is very helpful. They can’t discuss the plans too much before Arax asks for them. He is willing to let them escape and give them help on the outside, if they take him with them. Two asks him to set off a brawl to get everyone knocked out and while they are negotiating, Nyx arrives to tell them that the supply runs have been stopped until further notice. Arax says that they just need to wait it out, but the others aren’t willing to wait. Four says that he can get them a ship, which involves giving himself up for execution. Six is working on his report and his friend runs in and tells him that the members of the Raza aren’t making it out alive. He also reveals that One has been killed, but he says that if Six keeps quiet that he’ll be okay. After learning this Six goes to see Five and apologizes to her, she says that if he wants to prove how sorry he is that he needs to help them. While talking to Three, Two is told that she has been given solitary again, but when she gets there and goes into the interface Six is there. He tells her that their lives are in danger and that he cares about them. Four tells Arax and Three that everything has been set up, but they need Two to make sure that it works.

Three tells Four to hurt himself so that they can buy some time, when he refuses Arax hits him. Yeah, Four is totally going to be okay with that later. He wakes up to find a woman over him and she is here to take him into custody. The only thing is that they have a history together that Four totally doesn’t remember, even though she remembers it very clearly. He will have to leave even if he is injured, which does not bode well for the plan. Five has been brought in to help with Android, but she says that she was never actually going to help. Shaddick hits her and then threatens to shoot her if she doesn’t unlock the memories they need. Even though he might be injured Four is taken by his people and as he’s taken Two is released from solitary. Arax prompts the brawl and things get crazy! As that’s happening Six is messing with the system and Five is talking to Android. As the power goes out Five tells Android to kill them all. In a matter of minutes Five and Android leave the room with no survivors left behind. With a riot happening the prison goes to code black and the siren goes off. Everyone falls to the ground, but before Two can be locked up she comes to. She takes down the guard and uses his pass to alter the knockout signal and put all the guards under. The warden cuts the power, but with no signal to put them under the riot resumes.

Five arms herself and she and Android make their way to the meeting point. Four and Three are headed there, but Four winds up fighting the woman from his past, which Five crashes with her massive stun gun. Two collects Three, Arax, and the very quick Nyx, and they all meet up with Six. The young guy from the infirmary is also coming along, but before they can leave Anders confronts them. He says he can’t let them leave and he and Six both wind up shooting. Six is injured and even though he wasn’t going to come with them, Two grabs him. The infirmary prisoner helps to slow the bleeding and says that he doesn’t have the right tools to help him. Five has them put Six in stasis until they can find a way to get him the right medical attention. The rest of the crew finally learn that One has been killed from a news feed. We are back at the fancy office with the woman who is very pleased to learn that the Raza crew has escaped with the asset. Just who is Five exactly?
