It has been announced by GKIDS Films that Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) will be part of the English voice cast of Phantom Boy.

GKIDS, the independent animation distributor, has announced that Phantom Boy, which is an animated feature by Jean-Loup Felicioli and Alain Gagnol, will have a theater release in New York on July 15 and in Los Angeles on July 22.

In addition to Padalecki, other English voice cast include Dana Snyder, Vincent D’Onofrio, Fred Armisen, Melissa Disney and Marcus D’Angelo. Phantom Boy was produced by Jacques-Remy Girerd and Annemie Degryse and co-produced by Folimage, Lunanime, France 3 Cinema and Rhone-Alpes Cinema.
