TURN: Washington Spies has won its battle to remain on the air, at least for one more season.

The AMC Revolutionary War period drama, based on Alexander Rose’s book Washington’s Spies: The Story of America’s First Spy Ring, will have its fourth and final season when it returns with ten episodes in 2017.

TURN has inspired a passionate fan base who were quite vocal on social media in championing the show’s renewal. The production value of the show is incredible. The writing, direction, costuming cast and crew must be applauded for telling stories centered on historical figures by giving them a realistic foundation. The audience has become emotionally invested in these characters.
