@jumblejim Happy Birthday Jim Beaver via @tdmiller820917 #Supernatural @WinchesterBros @RealNickiAycox #spnfans

Shakespeare wrote, “Life’s a walk shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more. It’s a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

Of course, the Bard of Avon never had the pleasure of knowing Jim Beaver. Jim has used his hours upon life’s stage to positively impact many people, millions of faces for which he will never see.

Jim Beaver’s life signifies something special!

Jim Beaver is a true Renaissance man. He embraces art, rebirth and self-discovery in several forms. As an actor, he explores the human condition with its strengths and flaws. We follow him to Deadwood and carry on the road towards South Dakota to learn from Bobby Singer. We may act like idgits sometimes, but Bobby reminds us that family don’t end in blood. We love him for that.

Jim Beaver is a writer with heart. We read his words. We feel his words. We savor his words. His book, “Life’s That Way,” finds hope in immeasurable grief. His words are deeply personal. Yet, amazingly through his pain, Jim comforts us. How is that even possible?

Jim Beaver is a friend of many. He is a wonderful father to his daughter Maddie giving her love and helping her to explore her dreams as she carves her own place in this world.

Today, August 12th, is Jim Beaver’s birthday. I send my best wishes as he celebrates his special day with family and friends.
