There are a million reasons why Supernatural fans love Mark Pellegrino.

Pellegrino has countless fans of The CW’s long running show where he portrayed Lucifer to perfection. While it is certainly no easy feat making the Devil a fan favorite, Pellegrino definitely succeeded, turning in one chilling performance after another. Many fans are still hoping that we haven’t seen the last of Mark Pellegrino on Supernatural.

In the meantime, the actor (who also enjoyed a memorable turn on ABC’s Lost and recently on Quantico), has been cast in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.  This drama, based on a novel by Jay Asher, stars Dylan Minnette as Clay Jensen. Clay discovered a mysterious box containing cassette tapes from a classmate named Hannah (played by Katherine Langford) who committed suicide. In the tapes, Hannah confessed that Clay was one of the thirteen reasons why she decided to commit suicide.

The series also stars Christina Navarro, Ross Butler, Devin Druid, Katherine Langford, Brandon Flynn, Alisha Boe, Justin Prentice and Miles Heizer.
