A new volume of Make Mine Indie is here to help you find fabulous comics to suit your every mood. Here are some quick highlights to show you just how great this collection is.

Make Mine Indie #2 showcases some comics that I’ve reviewed on The Nerdy Girl Express before including Croak, The Chair, IF Anthology: Super Powers, and Corktown. You can check out excerpts and additional reviews of these comics, which really shows just what makes them such interesting reads. The collection includes a diverse assortment of comics from a variety of genres, including horror, sci-fi, mystery, and action. There are also some fun titles for the whole family.

What I love about Make Mine Indie is that I can find tons of brand new titles. Not only do you get descriptions and cover art, but you also get excerpts from the comics themselves. I’m very excited to check out Casefile: Arkham: Nightmare on Canvas. There’s Lovecraftian writing mixed with 1940’s detectives, it sounds a lot like the plots my old Call of Cthulhu group would use. Utopiates: The Ultimate Bet With the Mind also intrigues me. You can buy a brand new personality and it looks very Blade Runner style futuristic. I also think The Howler will make for an amazing Halloween read.
