Arrow begins its fifth season October 5 with newly elected Mayor Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) having to juggle his mayoral duties and his super hero ones. Viewers will also see a shift in the roles of Team Arrow and meet a new villain.

Here is the synopsis from TV Guide: “Season 5 begins with a deadly new criminal, Tobias Church, threatening Star City, which forces Oliver to consider forming a new team of superheroes to help him do battle. In flashbacks, Oliver faces off against the Bratva in Russia.”
