I just watched the episode Footprint at the Lake. I do not buy this story. There is more to this story. No explanation on why mother was stabbed 46 times, strangled, and shot. Thats a personal type of killing and per the accused she was good to him. There is no motive. Guns were supposedly the motive, yet no guns were taken. Why was her body even moved to the lake? Why would anyone go to all that trouble? How did the accused get his bike to the lake prior to the killing, if this was not planned and just happened because she woke up and caught him in the room? There would have been no reason to have his bike left at the lake, if he had not tried to steal guns yet, and mother had not found him in her room? The family was gone for a month prior, why didnt accused break in then? I think the girlfriend was somehow involved. This whole story makes absolutely no sense. Why was nothing mentioned of gun type that mother was shot with and who the gun belonged to? It seems not very good investigative work was done in this case.
