I just finished the last episode of Season 3 of the brilliant prison drama Wentworth and I’m still riveted by what I watched. But instead of discussing the specifics of the end of the season epsiode, I’d like to focus on one character who played a part in the excitement of the finale, Jess Warner.

Ever hear the phrase ‘The inmates are running the asylum’ ? Well, if you are a viewer of the brilliant prison drama on Netflix Wentworth, you may wonder if the inmates run the prison.
Liz Birdsworth is the appointed mother hen of Wentworth Prison. She’s always ready to lend an ear to prisoners and offers support to those in need.
Doreen Anderson is certainly not the most dangerous prisoner at Wentworth but she seems to always end up in the middle of dangerous situations due to her associations with some of the more tougher female inmates.
When I say Netflix prison drama you probably think I’m talking about Orange is the New Black, right? Well while I do love the ladies of Litchfield, we are going down under to the even more intense women’s prison, Wentworth. The series is a modern re-imagining of Prisoner, a prison based soap opera style drama that aired in the 1970’s and 80’s. Wentworth in just its first two seasons takes you on a roller-coaster of craziness with a diverse cast of characters and remarkably well written plot lines.
