What do you do when you want some comedy in your life? You run to the nearest Redbox and rent Spy starring the awesome Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law, Jason Statham, and Rose Bryne.

Let me say, I have never laughed so hard during a movie, yet there were some intense moments as well. This movie has the perfect blend of comedy and action. It’s Naked Gun meets James Bond. As always, Melissa McCarthy is brilliant as she plays Susan Cooper, a desk bound CIA analyst, who works with one of America’s best spies, Bradley Fine, played by Jude Law. She is his eyes, as she is behind a computer watching his back while he goes on dangerous missions. Of course, Susan is completely in love with Fine, he’s handsome and badass.

When Fine is lost in action, chasing down a nuclear bomb someone is trying to sell, the seller exposes all the top spies. It’s time for Agent Susan Cooper to step out into the field and take down the people responsible for the murder of her love and foil the black market sale of the bomb. Rick Ford (Statham) is another spy, who was also exposed. Pissed he has to sit out on the mission, he goes rogue and manages to make himself apart of the team. It was so awesome to see him play a role like this, dude is seriously hilarious.

Now, I’m not gonna tell you much more of what happens because if you haven’t seen it, please stop what you are doing now and go get it! I will say airplanes, helicopters, 50 Cent, uncover, Statham in a wig, big twists, dead man with his head up an ass, and a badass scooter car chase. This cast works great together. It literally had me laughing out loud with all the crazy stunts and lines. McCarthy is a freaking badass spy. I most definitely wouldn’t want to go up against her, she’s like a female James Bond, on her first mission. They really pulled out all the stops for this movie. Spy was epic, one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time!
