Last night we were given a beautifully crazy gift from the people at Warner Brothers and DC, a brand new Suicide Squad trailer. If you haven’t seen it yet, here you go:

Now that you’ve seen it, how excited are you? I’m a huge fan of Batman and while I haven’t been super into Suicide Squad before, I was sucked into this movie when they first teased the images of Jared Leto. Okay, no lie I was super annoyed by our grilled out and tattooed up Mr. J, but I am trying to let him grow on me. Once I saw him I started keeping my eyes out for anything about the movie I could find.

When I saw this new trailer I was excited to actually get introduced to the Suicide Squad team. I honestly didn’t really know anything about the members, except Harley Quinn and Killer Croc. I’m kind of liking these new characters, I mean a dude popped out of a bag and started beating the crap out of people and someone is possessed by a freaking witch yet somehow manages to look gorgeous. Also Killer Croc doing stuff besides throwing rocks is a big deal that should be celebrated. That’s totally a Batman: The Animated Series reference, just so you don’t think I’m making fun of Croc for no good reason.

This trailer actually made me really excited to see the movie, and I’m intrigued to see what Viola Davis gets to do as Amanda Waller. I’m still not sure how I feel about this Harley and Joker pair, but I am trying to keep that from distorting my opinions of the movie. I mean at least he had a suit on this time, though that grill is just so weird. It makes him look like he had to get his front teeth filled because of cavities, at least to me.
