Lucifer Recap: Sweet Kicks from @kleffnotes

High fashion heels, gang violence, a killer fight sequence, and a supernatural coffee date all happened on last night’s Lucifer episode, Sweet Kicks. Let’s get to the recap Lucifans!

First off something ridiculously terrible happened last night during Lucifer, but only to me. I have Dish and for some insane reason we lost all signal for the first ten minutes of Lucifer. I freaked out a lot and was afraid I wouldn’t be able to watch the show at all. The Lucifer on Fox Twitter account was awesome and told me that I’d be able to watch the episode online on FOX NOW later on in the evening. As soon as I had connection back I jumped into live tweeting. Thank you lovely Lucifer live tweeters for your recaps of what I missed! You all are amazing!

lucifer shoe show

We opened with Lucifer and Maze at a very high fashion shoe show, where bullets start flying. One of the models dies and that’s when our tough as nails detective Chloe gets involved. This isn’t just a regular shooting, but it’s actually connected to a gang war in the city. Even though she doesn’t want to work with him, Lucifer woos his way back with her, through her superior. With team Chloifer (Lucker, Lutective, Decifer, someone help me figure out a ship name please!) on the case things are bound to get interesting.

lucifer shoot out

We meet the gang member turned shoe designer, who happens to owe Lucifer a favor, his muscle man, and a very cute pig, adorably named Pig Diddy. While our crime solving duo delve deeper into the case, we learn that the dead girl was the cousin of a guy from Benny’s, the shoe designer, gang and they all blame Viper, who was just released from prison and belongs to the rival gang. Things get crazy, which leads to an amazing fight scene that shows Maze, Lesley-Ann Brandt, taking out a huge group of people. The scene is amazing! This wasn’t Maze’s only scene though. We got to see her on a sort of coffee date with Amenadiel and there was a huge reveal at the end of the episode that you totally need to see to believe.

The only downside of this episode was that there was no Trixie, which is a huge bummer because she is absolutely adorable. Next week I hope she’s back.
