For International Women’s Day, let’s salute the superhero females that grace our television screens on such shows as Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.

Felicia Smoak (Arrow), Caitlin Snow (The Flash) and Danvers sisters, Alex and Kara (Supergirl) have shown that superheroes use their brains and skill along with abilities (Kara) to help save the world and keep humanity safe.

These women should be praised for showing that gender doesn’t matter when it comes to bravery and fighting for what’s right.  Women have just as much strength and courage as their male counterparts.
