Derek Channing underestimated the reach of his power. Or better still, the reach of Governor Joan Ferguson’s.

Wentworth Correctional Board Member Derek Channing knew that Governor Joan Ferguson was bad news and attempted to have her replaced but Ferguson proved that when it comes to the art of blackmail, she was Picasso while he was still painting by the numbers.

Due to his impropriety in which Channing used newly paroled prisoners to work in the brothel he owned, Governor Joan Ferguson had enough ammunition to keep him in line.  She was guaranteed his board vote and Channing had no choice put to play ball.

However now that the truth has come out about Joan Ferguson, will Derek Channing get his power back to appoint a governor of his own choice?
