@StitchersTV Recap: The One That Got Away from @kleffnotes

This week’s Stitchers had a serial killer and a bit of a family reunion, which is a whole lot of drama for an hour of television. Logan Paul started his guest starring appearance on the series as Camille’s brother Theo and that plot was just as intense as the murder plot. You’ll see, let’s get to the recap. It sounds like Camille and Kirsten are being robbed in the middle of the night at the start of the episode. After Camille kicks the intruder in his sensitive parts, we learn that it’s not just any intruder, but Theo. He seems excited to see Mille, his personal nickname for his little sister, but she really doesn’t look like she wants to anywhere near him. Camille lets Theo stay at the house while she and Kirsten head off to deal with a very personal new case.

Detective Fisher’s role model from the police force was recently found dead and with some rule bending by Maggie the Stitch team is on the case. During her stitch Kirsten learns that the retired detective was investigating an unsolved case involving The Los Angeles Ripper. They think that her investigation is what got her killed and Fisher starts going after leads, with Cameron and Kirsten. While at a cop bar we meet a detective who thinks that the reason that Fisher’s friend died is because she couldn’t leave the case alone. We also meet a psychiatrist who helped create a profile of the serial killer who tries to give Camsten some couples therapy.

While they track down a previous suspect in the case, a drug dealer who was in prison for roughly the same amount of time that the Ripper wasn’t killing, but the guy seems like just a freaked out guy who happens to deal pot. Cameron is making a lot of decisions that are stressing me out. He helps run down the suspect and just his desire to live life on the edge is giving me heart palpitations.

With the investigation in full swing, Camille is dealing with Theo’s appearance in her life. Things are initially going okay, he does dishes and really just seems to be sharing super embarrassing Mille stories with Linus over beer and baseball, until there’s a knock at the door. A guy named Duke insists that Theo told him he’d be at this house and he’s here for his money. Theo is hiding in the kitchen and we see him pull out a gun, just in case. Camille gets the guys to leave by insisting that her brother hasn’t been by, but she insists Theo leave right away. Instead of leaving Theo shows up at Linus’ place and he lets him crash there. Linus hosts dinner for Camille and Theo, hoping that this will help them work through their issues, but it blows up. She yells at Theo and then when her own brother insults her Linus stands up for her and tells Theo to get out.

The case gets crazier after Maggie benches Cameron after she learns about him running down a perp. With Fisher and Kirsten investigating one psychiatrist, Cameron goes to talk to another. Only problem is the one Cameron meets is far more deadlier than he appears. Linus also pays for his good intentions with a lot more personal property than he expected.
