Why Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles should be on @TheEllenShow via @tdmiller820917

When Supernatural premiered on the then WB on September 13, 2005, it was billed in the media as a “little horror show.”  The story of Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers traveling across the country fighting supernatural evil, immediately struck an emotional chord with viewers. The early days of the show focused on urban legends such as Bloody Mary and Hook Man. Later, the mythology introduced angels and a civil war in Heaven. Still, the relationship between the Winchesters is the heart of Supernatural.

Over the years, Supernatural has redefined itself as more than a “little horror show.’

Supernatural speaks to the resiliency of the human spirit. Fans identify with Sam and Dean Winchester’s courageous struggles for each other and for the greater good. The themes of good versus evil are universal and relevant.

Now in its eleventh season (and recently renewed by The CW for an impressive twelfth season), millions of fans have been inspired by the phenomenon that is Supernatural.

Supernatural fans have started a passionate campaign to get actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles invited as guests on The Ellen Show.

Supernatural has sustaining power because it continues to deliver. Viewers are emotionally drawn to characters who give everything they have to fight tremendous obstacles.
