Impending parenthood is a time filled with a rollercoaster of emotion from the excitement of sharing the beautiful and special bond with your child to the paralyzing fear that comes with being responsible for a new life. Some couples decide to celebrate this milestone by taking a “babymoon.” A babymoon is a vacation for a couple before the arrival of their little bundle of joy.

Actress Julie McNiven stars in “The Babymoon Movie” a film that highlights a couple’s desire for a romantic getaway before their child is born.

I interviewed the gracious and talented McNiven last year and she told me that this film is an adventure/comedy filled with twists and turns. When you think of Julie McNiven, comedy doesn’t immediately spring to mind. For people who are familiar with McNiven from her stellar work as the angel Anna in The CW’s long running show Supernatural, she is an accomplished dramatic actress. So The Babymoon Movie promises to be a nice treat as the actress tackles a different character where comedy is sprinkled in.

The Babymoon Movie will premiere June 10th at TCL Chinese Theatres
