Supernatural alum Alaina Huffman has gone from a Knight of Hell to Vagabond.
From the moment she first appeared in the Supernatural Season 8 episode As Time Goes By, Alaina Huffman made the demonic Knight of Hell Abbadon a memorable character. Abbadon was the villain viewers loved to hate. A powerful class of demon created by Lucifer, Knights of Hell were not ordinary demons. Arguably, they were the self-proclaimed “royalty” when it came to demonic evil. Abbadon even challenged Crowley’s position as King of Hell. She confidently and forcefully advanced a regime change with her as the ruler. “Long Live the Queen” became her mantra. Even the temporary destruction of her meatsuit couldn’t keep a good Knight of Hell like Abbadon down. When she was eventually killed with the First Blade by the Mark of Cain afflicted Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), I admit that I was sorry to see both the character and Alaina Huffman leave the show. Fortunately, Huffman later returned to the show via flashback sequences in the episodes Clip Show and Mother’s Little Helper.
Alaina Huffman is bringing her considerable acting talent to star in the short film Vagabond. An indiegogo campaign has been launched to acquire financing for the film. According to the campaign website, ” Vagabond is a short film about a couple on the brink of divorce who accidentally runs over a strange old man and subsequently, their luck changes over night.” Vagabond promises dark humor against the backdrop of a modern day tale with greed as an element of the story.
Vagabond is written by Jenny Klein and directed by Nicole Baer. Both Klein and Baer have worked on Supernatural.
