Hail to the Chief!
When “Supergirl” returns for its sophomore season this fall, not only will it be on a new network (moving from CBS to The CW) but it also will welcome Wonder Woman to the show.
No, Supergirl’s Kara won’t be forming a sisterhood with the Amazonian princess Wonder Woman (aka Diana Prince). Actress Lynda Carter, who thrilled viewers in the 1970s on the television series Wonder Woman, has been cast in the recurring role as the President of the United States.
Since hanging up her golden, truth inducing lasso, Lynda Carter has starred in numerous television shows. She is also a very talented singer performing across the country.
Supergirl ‘s second season premieres on The CW on Monday, October 10th.
