Imagine you’re just going about your day when time travelers show up in the hotel your trapped in during a snow storm. In Charge #2 things get timey wimey as members of a tech corporation learn that they are working in a key point in a massive battle taking place through time and space.

The employees of Comtech in 1975 find themselves with some surprise guests in the hotel they’ve been living and working in. A massive snowstorm has knocked out their phones and they are basically trapped. With no way to get in or out of the hotel they are surprised when a crew of people arrive and basically take over. While they might be upset, they are astonished to learn that these visitors are from the year 2017. Comtech is in a war for the control of time travel with Nicorp and this random hotel happens to be a brand new point in their battle timeline. If they can win here they can actually rewrite history and keep the war from ever happening. Yep, time travel is a crazy thing indeed.

I’m a fan of Doctor Who and the idea of war over the control of time travel is something I found really intriguing. With people jumping around the timeline Charge seems like a wonderfully complex series with so many possibilities. We not only have the 2017 agents, but the people of 1975 aren’t all trustworthy. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this fight for time travel will turn out for Comtech.
