Four and Nyx are having some bonding time, which involves lots and lots of fighting. She asks how he feels after the death of Jace Corso. He says he can’t accept just that and argues that there is more to be done. Four then asks Nyx if she has put her past behind her and she simply says no. After their time together she goes back to her room and we get a flashback. She’s being dragged into a room, but suddenly everything goes hazy. She is fighting her way out, then the haziness is gone and we are back to a moment before the fight. It seems like Nyx has some sort of psychic ability, mild useful deja vu in this instance. After fighting her way free she blasts herself out of the ship before it jumps into hyperspace.
Android called Two onto the bridge and tells her that she noticed that when Arax used the ship he used his com link. Android has kept the update, but she is wearing an outfit more like her normal uniform. She wants to be like her old self on the ship, she did keep the outfit though. Two wants to go after the woman that he was talking to, her name is Alicia. Nyx suggests that they can get on a freighter that she used to travel on. They have shadow, a synthetic hallucinogen on board, which they could sell for quick cash. Six is very against this, but they need money. Three and Four don’t want him involved, though Two says that if he’s staying on the ship he’s going to have to be okay with it. Android disables the shields on the ship and they begin firing back. Android can distract them and Three is going to fly the Marauder down. This is the ship that Nyx escaped from, not just some freighter holding party drugs, very sneaky Nyx, very sneaky. They arm up with stun weapons and head out into the ship with Nyx in the lead. They split up and Nyx winds up leading Two into a room full of people in pods. She opens one and says that the man inside is her brother.

Three and Four found the shadow, but Two is irate. She demands to know what is happening and Nyx says that all the people are prisoners. She had promised to save her brother from this place, Milo slowly wakes up and they drag him out. Four holds off the men in order to get them in the Marauder. They make it and Android pushes for a jump. The men on the ship say that they should have seen this coming and are curious as to why they didn’t. Two insists Nyx explain and she says that she and Milo were taken with over one hundred people from their planet. They were all linked to create a collective consciousness and while they took out the corporation that was originally running the experiment their rebellion failed. The leader said they needed to continue the experiment and they stayed trapped in their pods. Milo needs to get the drugs out of his system and Devon will be taking care of him. Three is mad that Two let the kid on board, but she says that they can get rid of them. Just after they sell the drugs and can give Nyx her cut. Devon steals some of the shadow and when he runs into Five he says that he’s using it to ween Milo off of the drugs in his system. Yeah, those aren’t for Milo. Six and Three will be going to pass the drugs with Devon’s contact, even though Three is not okay with Six being involved at all. Nyx is checking on her brother and he tells her that he has to leave. His presence puts her in danger, but she tells him he needs to stay. Milo goes on to say that the connection has gotten stronger, which Nyx attributes to him.

Three and Six suddenly see a ship drop in and the buyers bail. Six tells the Raza to fly off, he’ll take the Marauder down to the planet, which will give them some cover. The Raza will have to come back for them once they are in the clear. Three is super mad they are stuck in a cloud of dangerous gas, which they can’t see through. Literally Six and Three are stuck in the ship, then the power goes out. Six is really not having a good day. Nyx explains to Two that the people looking for them are all connected. They would be drugged up and then the seers, those who controlled the consciousness, would work to find out the probability of something happening. Milo knew they were coming, but he manipulated the data so that no one would know what would happen. The seers want Milo back, which is causing a lot of issues. Two doesn’t understand how these people can know what they are going to do because she has no idea what to do. Four and Nyx are in his dojo and he tells her that Milo can’t stay there. She wants him to talk to Milo and try and convince the crew to let him join them. Four says that keeping him there is too dangerous, but Nyx says that the Raza is capable of defending them. He thinks she wants them to kill the seers, but she says she just wants to ensure that they’ll never go after them again. The head seer enters the collected consciousness and says that the Raza’s path has been determined.

Android has fixed the shields as best as she can, but they can’t survive another attack. The Marauder also needs them to get back in less than 10 hours. Two is trying to figure out what to do and she still doesn’t know. She says she doesn’t want to be predictable. Six is trying to fix the Marauder, which he hopes is damaged internally and not externally. Devon has one of the shadow vials out, then he loads his gun and holds it to his neck. Four brings an apple to Milo, who says he isn’t hungry. He then asks Milo if he could determine what would happen on his home planet if he gave him the entire history and he says yes. Then after leaving the apple, Four asks him how he thinks this will all turn out. He says Two will go rescue Three and Six, even if it destroys the Raza, and that sometime soon one of the crew will betray the others. Six is able to get the power back up in the Marauder, only after he and Three have a very long talk. He apologizes for turning the crew in, but says he thinks that Three would have done the same thing. They then head off of the planet. Nyx brings Five to meet Milo and he seems happy to see her. Five wants to ask Milo about the crew and when he asks her what she thinks, she wants them to help people. He then says that a major paradigm shift is coming, that a massive corporate war is coming in the next six months. During that time the entire course of history could be changed, which seems like something the crew of the Raza could do.

They jump back to the Marauder and Two tells them to hurry. Three finally tells Six he still doesn’t forgive him, but that he’s willing to let him prove himself. The Marauder is boarded and they could jump, but Two tells everyone to trust her. She tells Android to create a channel to the seer ship. She reveals that their shields are down, then says they are keeping Milo and leaving. The head seer asks why he would let them do that and she says that she’ll kill him. They are about to jump and the seer says that he doesn’t believe she will pull the trigger. Milo says that he has to go back because there is no other way. She refuses to let him leave, but he says that this crew is connected to the changes that will come. He will work to change the system from the inside to try and create a second rebellion. Four takes Milo to the Marauder, but they aren’t giving them the shadow back. Six says that even if they know they are coming back, that doesn’t mean they can stop the Raza. Milo is telling Four what the seers will do if they aren’t stopped and he then says that even if the chances of a rebellion are slim that this is his only choice. Four says that there is actually another way. Nothing was said about the cargo when it was returned and they jump. Nyx is alone in her room crying, but Milo is up to something. When he enters the ship the head seer tells him that they know what he did to the data stream. He says he forgives him, but that they will be watching him. Milo is supposed to enter with the next shift of people. He is left alone and in that moment he kills himself. Without him they are weakened. Nyx goes to see Four and the two of them begin sparring. She thanks him for getting to know Milo and for being her friend, she also says she knew he didn’t have much time. Two is having a drink when suddenly her hand starts shaking, which doesn’t make sense, unless her nanobots are malfunctioning.
