D’Avin is sneaking around incognito on the look out for illegal contraband, when the elderly man finally gives it to him, Johnny shoots it out of his hand. It’s actually acid and they are trying to get the guy for selling illegal explosives. D’Avin didn’t read the whole warrant and the dude runs, well wheels away. Dutch on the ship is trying to figure out the green goo. Johnny takes some out of Mossy, the man eating moss bug, while experimenting with it D’Avin winds up mind melding with the thing. D’Avin wakes up and he is freaking out about the little dude having teeth in it’s stomach. Ew! He refuses the liquor Johnny offers, but Johnny take a huge swig.

The goo, which is formally called plasma, can be used to mind link, but they need the pure stuff. Pree is nearby, they’re at the bar after the Mossy event, and he thinks he can help them find some. Sabine and D’Avin start flirting again and she not so subtly hints she wants him to make the first move. Johnny holocalls Pawter and she says she sent him some files about the wall, but much of it is redacted. She found a word that she doesn’t know in them, and even though Johnny said it out loud I have no clue what the word is or means. Pawter says I love you, but adds for what you are doing and before she hangs up she lowers her robe. Johnny tells Lucy to delete the conversation, even though it goes against protocol. Pree found a lead for Dutch, he knows a guy who came in contact with some stuff called green magic. They think it might be the plasma, Romwell, the guy in question, only trades so they’ll have to figure something out. They do some slick flying through an asteroid belt and even though they are following his tracker they see no ship. Lucy says they are being hailed already. Romwell appears on their screens and he says he needs a trade, Dutch promises it is something magical and they are allowed on board the amazing asteroid ship. Yep, it’s an asteroid, which Johnny is super stoked about.

The ship is full of the crystals we saw earlier, which keeps it powered at all times. Romwell has three assistants who speak in unison and he is very excited about this trade. To hold his collection he has a molecular printer, which allows him to scan anything into his archive and then print it back out. He has what they need, but he scans it back up after proving he has it. They all head over to Lucy to show him all they have to trade. He isn’t remarkably impressed, which is irritating Johnny. Mostly because Romwell insulted his Captain Apex comic. Lucy announces that all personal items are being scanned and Romwell finds Mossy. He insists he’ll make the trade, but only for Mossy. Romwell sucks the plasma out of Mossy and says trade done. Dutch is irate and says that he give them the plasma from his ship or she’ll take him in. Romwell says that he thought she was different and when she goes to threaten him the androids, yes those women were androids, pull up weapons in their hips. Romwell says they have to trade for their freedom now. He wants Johnny and D’Avin, but he’ll let Dutch go for her sitara. After D’Avin almost dies when he tries to fight an android, Dutch says she’ll will give Romwell the instrument and the story connected to it in exchange for everyone’s freedom.

Romwell says that he wants to see the story, which is possible with a new device he traded for. The two will both be immersed in her story and they’ll relive it together. Johnny and D’Avin are under the watch of the androids and they are insisting D’Avin strip down. Dutch is explaining her instrument, her family was once very rich, but they lost everything. She was chosen for a harem, but the only way to escape it would be to sway a prince. Her father sent her a tutor, Khlyen, who would train her. Dutch says that she wants a story in return and Romwell tells her about how he got the plasma. There were people whose ships ran on it and that was when he began collecting. Back with the androids D’Avin and Johnny start a fight, which is not going very well for them. Johnny slams a controller on the red headed android and suddenly she’s Lucy. A very stripped down version, Johnny says she’s like an app Lucy. She can hold off the androids for a little while for them. Back with Dutch and Romwell she says that her tutor taught her the song and on her wedding night she was to sing it and her prince would play the music. Dutch tells Romwell to play and she sings. We see the two of them marry, have a child, and grow old together. When the song is over Romwell says she showed him something he could never have. Then he realizes that he can’t move. The sitara is poisoned because Khlyen was paid to kill her husband, which put Dutch in his control. As she says that she slits Romwell’s throat, which also powers down the bots.

Dutch goes to look for the key to the printer and tells the others to go back to Lucy. There are thousands of keys and Dutch keeps guessing. There are some very interesting things in there, including a giant spider. She sees a fingerprint and sets her scanner to look for Johnny’s DNA on the keys. With that modification that should make things easier, but nope. The androids wake up and go after D’Avin and Johnny and then Romwell appears and goes after Dutch. She tells him that the visitors who came to his home pumped him full of that green stuff. He doesn’t want to hurt her, but he says that he isn’t a level six. The visitors took him and tortured him for information about his planet and he gave it all. He then escaped to a hospital that used nanites, which worked too well. He’s over 400 years old. Romwell wants to show Dutch a hairpin that he first traded for if she’ll stay. The androids were told to stand down, but his link was broken and he says he’ll help her if she actually considers staying with him. She tells him that she won’t trade any more and he can help or not, she isn’t his manic pixie assassin.

Lucy on Lucy is staring at Johnny and touches his face. Then she asks him to kiss her in case he dies. He says her wanting to kiss him because he could die is still a no, but she argues it’s the only time he can kiss a robot. Johnny jumps on that and then sparks go off from her finger. She then opens the hatch and fights the other androids so that he and D’Avin can get away. She dies and while they got away the hatch is sealed. Johnny asks Lucy to blast the door and she says the bitches who shot her are hacking her. D’Avin grabs a crystal and covers it in the plasma. He sets it flying, but can’t really control it. Dutch tells Romwell to come with them and the ship explodes as Lucy is flying away. Dutch goes to talk to Romwell, even though Johnny says she should give him time to process the lose of his asteroid ship. Dutch tells D’Avin he saved them, even though he had to use all of the plasma. Then she tells him to go have fun in Old Town with his friend. Romwell thanks Dutch for letting him be part of a story. Dutch worked it out so that he’ll have a new identity and can go wherever he wants. He then reveals that he printed a spare plasma and gives it to her. After that we see Dutch walk into Alvis’ room at the monastery and they kiss. Johnny is on the phone with Pawter and teleplasticity is the term he was researching. It has something to do with the wall and he is going to visit a scientist connected to it. It turns out that Pawter is actually on the ship, she totally tricked him by pretending to be a hologram. They are going to have a lovely time together. Dutch and Alvis are basking in the glow of candles and post sexy times, then he starts talking about his research. It mentions something like the plasma, which he thinks is why the scarbacks cut themselves. It’s to prove that they aren’t infected. D’Avin and Sabine spent the night together and he gives her the peaches she wanted to badly. Then also sex, yep this is the everybody gets some episode. But because D’Avin never gets to be happy, Sabine starts crying green and seizes. Dang you green goo!!!
