The weaselly Calchek gets his butt saved by Two, but he totally isn’t being let off the hook just because she was feeling generous, but we’ve got something else to deal with first.
Nyx and Devon on the ship are discussing drug usage and she has totally known his secret the entire time. He gets defensive and tells her that she doesn’t know what he’s been through. Devon winds up giving her some drugs, but he does not look happy about it. Back with Two, Six, and Three Calchek finally wakes up, he was a little unconscious. After a fake attempt at cutting off his pinkie he reveals everything and tells them that Alicia is a criminal and that she only travels by clone. Two makes him help them source some clone pods and she says he’s going to stay and help. He might have their handler, but Six points out that they fired him. Even if there wasn’t any paperwork, he still can’t tell them what to do. He tries to run, but Nyx knocks him out in a matter of seconds. Three and Six take him from there and this week we’ve got a sort of captive situation. Nyx is trying to cope with the death of her brother and while she has the drugs, she still hasn’t taken them. Android comes to see her and she tells Nyx that she too once felt like an outsider on the Raza. She also says that they can all empathize with what she is going through, while they didn’t lose a family member they all lost One. Android goes on to tell Nyx that she isn’t alone. Calchek apparently has one person worried about him. He had a date lined up for the night and she reported him missing to the GA. Our favorite new officer of the law, well he might just be mine, is there and after having to give Four back to the Raza he is looking pretty dedicated to taking down the crew.

Five has been hard at work tracking down Alicia’s location and with her skills they know exactly where to clone travel. She says that it is very slim that anyone would guess what she just did was possible so they should be good. Two says that the only issue would be their clones being killed or the transfer not finishing. She plans to go, but with her nanites her body might not be able to. Five says that she should go because they’ll need her skills. Four suggests himself because of his combat training and even though Six wants to go, Three tells him that he’s on probation and says he will go instead. Five, Three, and Four are suited up, and Android comments on just how snug the outfit is on Three. The Raza will be circling the station they are sending their clones to and the plan sounds like it should be fine. That definitely means something is going to go wrong. Three makes the move first, Android is very aware of the fit of his outfit. After they all get there, Five says she just needs to hack the computer and then they can head out. She doesn’t think they should ever need to leave the room. While Three and Four are ready to help all Five needs are some cookies and she gets down to business. On the Raza Calchek is wailing and banging on his door and when Android finally opens it she says he’s been annoyingly persistent and that she doesn’t want to have to hurt him. He insists he’s claustrophobic and she relents and takes him to the infirmary, though his pleas for snacks go nowhere. Five hits the jackpot at Alicia’s, the blink drive she has lets a ship jump from one place to another. Literally seconds to travel from one side of the galaxy to another.

Three wants to know how it works and Five says that the blink drive can be used on any ship, all they need is an adapter. There just so happens to be one a few floors up, looks like we aren’t staying in Alicia’s room the entire time. The team finds disguises, by knocking out two scientists and a security guard. Nyx finds Devon sprawled in a section of the Raza drinking alcohol and drunkenly thinking about erasing his memory to get a fresh start. Nyx says he just needs to make better choices and starts to walk away. She stops when he reveals he once killed a twelve year old girl. He has been an addict for a while and one day his ship was almost destroyed and he was faced with dozens of wounded people in need of his help. The problem was he was high the entire time. Though he helped most of the people, when they brought him the twelve year old girl he had been going through the shakes and had just doped back up. He took too much and wasn’t able to save her. That prompted him to try and stay clean for six months, but he was haunted by the girl’s face and wasn’t able to stay clean. Nyx says that you can’t just block something out in an attempt to move on and that she was actually just about to give him the pills back. She says that even though the Raza crew got fresh starts that when they woke up they immediately went looking for their pasts and didn’t like what they found. In her opinion that means they are all in the same boat. Three, Five, and Four are in the vault with the drive and Five insists that they can just take it. Three thinks that there are safeguards, but Five says the entire building is designed to protect the device. As she takes it off the pedestal it asks for a password, which they don’t have. They run for it, but there are guards in the hallway. Three tells Five to run to the roof and get the drive to the Raza, she leaves, but he and Four get hit with stun guns and their unconscious bodies are dragged away by the guards.

Three wakes up and finds himself tied back to back with Four, this seems familiar. Four says that he just need to dislocate shoulders and they can get out and while Three agrees, he pauses when Four says that he needs to dislocate Three’s. No one is getting their shoulders popped today. Alicia comes in and reveals there’s only one blink drive and that she wants it back. She can do something with the pod signals and would be able to fry Three and Four’s actual brains, but for now she’ll have her torturer go to work on their current forms. While they might be clones they will still feel pain. On the Raza Calchek says that he notices something odd about Android. When he points out that she doesn’t behave normally she gets really angry and winds up getting him to shut up, at least for two seconds. He then says that they could take the bodies out of the pods, technically they don’t need to be in there all the time. Android wants to keep them inside, just in case they need to move quickly. Five miraculously appears and stuns the torturer. When she can’t get them out of the cuffs she shoots the clones. Three and Four wake up in the Raza, but Five is still there. They can’t remember anything because she shot them before they could upload their memories. With them gone Five is all alone, Alicia knows that she was behind it and instead of sending the charge she says that because there is no way out that they need to capture her alive. Problem is that the Raza is suddenly under attack, I knew this wouldn’t go smoothly.

Android hails the Marauder to get them to return, but before they head back they get a signal from Five. Nyx and Four were about to wake up her actual body, but they leave her in the pod. The Marauder fights it’s way to Five and she jumps on board with the drive. The Raza is still under attack, but Android has moved all power to the shields, at least until she can directly attack the weapons on the attacking ship. With them down and the Marauder docked they jump to ftl and get going. Five’s clone body has to get into another pod in order to transfer her memories and even though she sounds a little scared, she goes through with it. Original Five has all of clone Five’s memories and they have the adapter installed. They are totally ready to fight the corporations, though they still need to test it. Android says she isn’t familiar with this sort of technology, but it looks like it should be compatible with standard systems. Two says they need to make a stop and it’s finally time to drop off our captive. Devon says he wants to go too, and then Nyx says she wants to go. So just the original crew of the Raza will be going through with the test. Nyx says that she wants to stay with Devon to make sure he’s okay, which Two thinks is odd, but is okay with. Two has them move out of view from the station and then they initiate the jump. Something immediately seems to be going wrong, but Android can’t stop it. There is a high pitched squeal and then the Raza disappears. Nyx is in the bar at the station waiting for Devon, he though is wandering through some very sketchy looking tunnels, then the people from the collective mind group appear. Devon is in danger, they ask him where the Raza is and he tells them the ship is long gone. Then they ask him for Nyx and he says that she’s one of them now, oh look the title, and when he continues to not give them information one of the men stabs him. Unless Nyx, or someone else, finds him soon it looks like Devon might die here.
