We love Crazy Ex-Girlfriend! There’s no one reason for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend‘s success and popularity. Great writing, music and acting. The characterizations on this series on The CW has helped to make it a hit.

One of my personal favorite characters on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is Paula Proctor.  The sassy and lovable loyal friend is played to perfection by the delightful Donna Lynne Champlin, a multi-talented star of Broadway.

I had the great pleasure of interviewing Donna Lynne last year and it was an experience I’ll never forget.  She is extremely charming (like Paula) and takes her craft very seriously.  And she adores being a part of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. From her fellow actors, to the writers and crew, Donna Lynne gushed about this ensemble.

So today, January 21 on your birthday Donna Lynne, I wish you much happiness and success in your career.  You are an inspiration to anyone looking to breaking into Broadway, television and comedy.  Your determination is matched by your kind heart.
