A Night of Poetry With @RachelMiner1 & Friends Benefitting @RandomActsOrg via @tdmiller820917

Robert Frost eloquently wrote that “Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and thought has found its words.” I have always felt that poetry is one of the purest and most selfless art forms, seemingly arising from a place of vulnerability and introspection.

French philosopher Voltaire went a step further by calling poetry “the music of the soul.” Poetry is like this marvelous global language connecting all people from all walks of life who understand the emotions the words convey because they listen with their hearts.

If anyone excels at listening with her heart it is Rachel Miner. For people who are familiar with Miner’s long and illustrious acting career, she is a talent capable of breathing life into any character she has been tasked to play. Yet, there is another compelling facet that embodies Rachel Miner: Like that famed phoenix from mythical lore, Rachel Miner is skilled at reinventing herself through life’s challenges and emerging as an inspirational voice for those around her. Kindness is the fuel that drives Rachel Miner.

How wonderfully appropriate that Rachel Miner serves as the Executive Director of Random Acts, “a non-profit organization aiming to conquer the world one random act of kindness at a time.”

If you are in the Los Angeles area this Valentine’s Day, you won’t want to miss ” A Night of Poetry With Rachel Miner and Friends.” Miner and Friends will be spreading love by sharing poetry and undoubtedly goodwill. Proceeds from this event will benefit Random Acts.
