The Wicked Righteous #6 @ALTERNACOMICS Review from @kleffnotes

The sixth issue of The Wicked Righteous concludes the post-apocalyptic storyline that follows the world after a strange sickness has wiped out most of the adult population. To open this issue they go back two years to explain that there is no officially determined cause of the virus and that they had no idea how to cure it, but that somehow only adults with a history of violence and children are immune. With this reveal we then delve into the finale of the series.

Everyone we’ve met along the way is all in the same place and stories are coming to a head. Vengeance is demanded, JC is trying to get back to the boys after being taken by her father, and the terrifying Billy is making his final play. There is a tremendous amount of violence and explosive action in this issue with everyone’s stories drawing to a close. For Lucas the end is exceptionally terrifying as he must contend with Billy, whose madness has continued to grow.

The Wicked Righteous #6 brings everything to a very well tied up end and while there is still no cure we can see some light at the end of what has been a dark and dangerous journey. Everything fits into place and there are no loose ends so if you’ve been following this series you will be content with how everything comes together. I can’t reveal too much because it would definitely spoil it for you, but if you’ve been reading The Wicked Righteous you’ll be in for a great read.
