On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, The 46th Annual Kennedy Center Honors is being televised on CBS.

The Kennedy Center Honors is an annual honor given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture (although recipients do not need to be U.S. citizens). The honors have been presented annually since 1978, culminating each December in a star-studded gala celebrating the honorees in the Kennedy Center Opera House (Wikipedia).

Here is the synopsis from TV Guide: “Entertainers receive recognition at the annual ceremony; the year’s honorees are comic Billy Crystal, soprano Renée Fleming, singer-songwriter Barry Gibb, actress Queen Latifah and singer Dionne Warwick; Gloria Estefan hosts.”
