On Wednesday, December 28, 2022, The 44th Kennedy Center Honors is being televised on CBS.

The Kennedy Center Honors is an annual honor given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture (although recipients do not need to be U.S. citizens). The honors have been presented annually since 1978, culminating each December in a star-studded gala celebrating the honorees in the Kennedy Center Opera House (Wikipedia).

Here is the synopsis from TV Guide: “George Clooney, Amy Grant, Gladys Knight, Tania León, and U2 are honored. Performers for Grant include Sheryl Crow, the Highwomen, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and Michael W Smith.”
