I know last night’s The Flash had cool Meta Human King Shark and a crossover appearance of John Diggle and Lyla Michaels from Arrow but the revelation of the identity of Zoom is what I can’t help talking about.

I couldn’t believe it when it was revealed that Zoom is Jay Garrick. Especially since Zoom had killed Earth 2’s Jay Garrick in last week’s episode “Escape From Earth 2”.

Unless there are three Jay Garricks, which would put the tri in doppleganger, I’m thinking that Zoom is Hunter Zolomon. You remember, this is the mild mannered looking guy that Earth 2’s Jay Garrick showed Caitlin on Earth 1 a few episodes ago when he was trying to locate his doppleganger to kill him.  Plus, Hunter Zolomon is the real name of the Zoom character from The Flash comic books.

Maybe something made Hunter bitter and resentful and hardened his heart. I’m also thinking about the budding relationship on Earth 1 that Caitlin and Jay started. Did she turn to Hunter in her grief? Was Caitlin’s Earth 2 doppleganger, Killer Frost involved with Zoom while also pursuing a romance with Ronny?

I can’t wait for the whole story of this mystery to come out.
