Have you ever watch a movie where it left you feeling like “WTF did I just watch?”
While searching through Netflix for something to watch, I came across the movie White Rabbit. The description looked interesting, so I decided to watch it. Little did I know, this decent yet disturbing movie, sent me on a rollercoaster ride of WTF.
The morning after watching this movie, I’m still in WTF shock. I’m still not even sure what I just watched last night. That being said, White Rabbit, was not, I repeat, not a bad movie. It’s also not for the faint of heart.
The movie follows Harlon, a 17 year old troubled teen, who’s bullied at home and school, as he spirals out of control. He has visions of a white rabbit his father forced him to kill when he was younger. Did I mention that his comic books talk to him? Yea, I still don’t really understand this movie. Harlon meets Julie, a girl from school. He quickly falls for her, she’s just not in a good place in her life. (Story of everyone’s life, right) When his head just can’t take anymore, Harlon goes down a very bloody and violent path…at school…..as I stated above, this movie is NOT for the faint of heart. The filmmakers did NOT pan away during anything. Now here’s the kicker…did any of it happen or was it all in his head?
Confused by my description? Good. I’m still confused by this movie, yet it was pretty good. So much more happened in it, but, honestly I can’t even explain it to you. This is definitely a movie you have to watch for yourself. Though, for the third time I’m warning you, not for the faint of heart. The school scenes are extremely graphic….extremely. Because of that, this movie is probably not for everyone. Those of you wanting a WTF moment, wanting to question what’s real and what’s not real, check it out.
Seriously though, WTF?
Here check out the trailer
Have you seen it? If so, what did you think? Did it leave you with the “WTF did I just watch?” feeling?
