TNT re-aired today the Supernatural Season 11 episode “Into the Mystic” which introduced Eileen Leahy, (Shoshannah Stern) a young hunter who suffered permanent hearing loss as an infant when a Banshee attacked and killed her parents.

It has been announced that Stern will return for an upcoming Season 12 Supernatural episode.

And Shoshannah Stern confirmed the news in this tweet:

This is great news for Supernatural fans who enjoyed Shoshannah Stern as Eileen. It will be interesting to find out what Eileen has been doing this past year and how her reappearance in the Winchesters lives will play into their hunting. After all, her father was part of the Men of Letters which makes her a legacy like Sam and Dean.
