Lilith Dark #3 @ALTERNACOMICS Newsprint Review from @kleffnotes

The brave Lilith Dark has found herself in a very dangerous situation after being forcibly dethroned as queen of the beasties. She and her older sister have been imprisoned with seemingly no way to escape insight. Will our hero prevail?

In the adorable third issue of Lilith Dark the beasties have decided that Lilith and anyone connected to her would be better off as possibly meatloaf, at least that’s what she thinks. As she and her sister try and find a way to escape her brother and beloved sidekick, Snowball the dog, have made their way into the tree. As the humans and canine try and figure out a plan, Lilith’s new sidekick, Spoon, is trying his best to fight against his own beastly brethren. As our team begins to see that they might just have to work together, Lilith finds herself battling a brand new monster and receiving some aid from an unexpected extinct source.

The Lilith Dark comics are such a fun and enjoyable read. With Lilith as the focal point we are able to see the world through a lens of childlike wonder, even when things get dangerous. When she is worrying about what the beasties will do to her and her sister the fact that she thinks being made into meatloaf is possibly the worst way to go made me laugh. This story is just so delightful and I think readers of all ages will enjoy it. Plus the ending of this issue involves something I totally wish I could have done as a little kid. You can find Lilith Dark #3 in stores on Wednesday the 20th.
