Goodness gracious great balls of brains! For this week’s easy brain recipe I have some zombified meatballs. This one allows for a lot of leeway on the part of the cook, but this is what I’ve done to make a slightly brainy dish.
Ingredients:
3-6 meatballs
1/4 cup alfredo sauce
1/4 cup marinara sauce
This one was super easy for me because I didn’t make the meatballs from scratch. I know, I know, normally my recipes are a bit more involved, but I don’t eat meat and decided to just buy vegetarian meatballs. If you are a meat eater or have an awesome veggie meatball recipe you can be a bit more creative. I put 6 meatballs in a bowl and covered them with 1/4 cup alfredo sauce and then added 1/4 cup marinara sauce.
After putting the lid on the bowl I shook the bowl a bit to mix up all of the sauce and cover the meatballs a bit better. I then microwaved them for 4 minutes, stirred them, and microwaved them again for another 4 minutes. I then moved 3 of the meatballs to a smaller bowl and covered them in some sauce. Now you could do this and put the meatballs on a bun and have a meatball sub or add them to pasta. I personally wanted to just eat the meatballs with sauce. I hope you enjoyed this super quick recipe and later in the season I’ll be doing some slightly more complex things.
