Shadowhunters is back with season 3B, the final episodes. These first few episodes have set the tone for the end.
This article contains my thoughts and opinions with a ton of spoilers.
I’ve warned you.

3B started where 3A left off, everyone thinking Clary was blasted to Hell by Simon’s mark. We quickly find out this is not the case and we meet Luke Baines as the new Jonathan. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who thinks this brother-sister relationship is a little more than weird. And I’m not just talking about the rune that has them bonded. It feels like there’s a creepy lovesick puppy attached to Clary.
Magnus without powers is just super weird, but he still has that Magnus charm. Ok let’s be real, he lost some of his mojos when he lost his power. I need my happy go lucky Magnus back. We all know Magnus will not go without skills for long.
Clary escaped Jonathan’s clutches and is back with the Shadowhunters. Simon had his mark removed, and Izzy saved Simon’s life while putting her sobriety in jeopardy. So much is already going on, I hope they don’t get too many stories going trying to tie everything up that it jumbles the show all up. Only time will tell.

So far, I think things are going in the right direction.
