Every week on CBS Seal Team, Bravo Team executes dangerous missions. They are highly trained to carry out these assignments on short notice and with little margin for error.
Let’s take a look at the brave members of Bravo Team.
Sonny Quinn (AJ Buckley) is Bravo 3. He’s a Texan who values fun, females and friendship and always has his brothers’ backs in times of danger. His brothers are his other Bravo team members. Quinn will risk his life for them and the mission. He loves his country and will fight to defend it.
On the outside, Sonny appears to be a goof-off. But when you get to know him, he can be a serious guy with sage advice to give, though the way he phrases his wisdom is interesting. If there’s a class clown among Bravo Team, it’s Quinn. No matter how dangerous the mission, leave it to Sonny to lighten the mood to lessen the burden.
Sonny has taken a liken to “young Jedi” team member Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot). Spenser is Quinn’s protégé more so than any other member of Bravo Team.
Ladies man Sonny Quinn seems to have found a woman he can pursue a more lasting relationship with in Lisa Davis (Toni Trucks). Could anyone had predicted what a great pairing they’d make?
Although he is a jokester, Sonny can be serious when the occasion calls. Viewers got the chance to see Quinn as well as his portrayer AJ Buckley shine in the appropriately titled Season 2 episode “Time to Shine.” The episode found Sonny trapped in a torpedo tube that was quickly submerging with water. As Quinn came to grips with his fear and mortality, as mentioned Sonny displayed a moment of seriousness as he used his trademark humor to assure his team he was okay. When he realized the end was nearing for him, Sonny didn’t want Jason (David Boreanaz) to blame himself for Quinn’s impending death. This was definitely a performance worthy of an Emmy nomination.
Bravo Team wouldn’t be the same without Sonny Quinn.
