It’s Halloween Week! Not only is this the week to be spooky, kooky, and creepy, it’s also the week Ash vs Evil Dead premieres on Starz. With a brand new addition to the Evil Dead series starting on Halloween, Saturday at 9 pm est, I thought this would be the perfect time to do a series of articles about everything connected to The Evil Dead. A little while ago I was able to sit down and re-watch Edward Scissorhands. While probably more of a Christmas movie than a Halloween one, I always include it in my All Hallows Eve lists because of its themes and the character of Edward. I’m not sure if this is actually a ghost story, but it is something that happened to me when I was really little and it scared the bejeezus out of me. When I was younger I used to get super excited about the first day of school and the night before I wouldn’t be able to get a wink of sleep. I would just lay in bed waiting for the morning to come thinking about how amazing school would be. When I got older I would just stay up reading until I fell asleep, but when I was super young I at least pretended to sleep when I was supposed to.
