D’Avin is sneaking around incognito on the look out for illegal contraband, when the elderly man finally gives it to him, Johnny shoots it out of his hand. It’s actually acid and they are trying to get the guy for selling illegal explosives. D’Avin didn’t read the whole warrant and the dude runs, well wheels away. Dutch on the ship is trying to figure out the green goo. Johnny takes some out of Mossy, the man eating moss bug, while experimenting with it D’Avin winds up mind melding with the thing. D’Avin wakes up and he is freaking out about the little dude having teeth in it’s stomach. Ew! He refuses the liquor Johnny offers, but Johnny take a huge swig. @Killjoys Recap: Meet the Parents from @kleffnotes

We open in the ever depressing Old Town with some creepy men selling gear to the Killjoys. Turns out this deal isn’t actually a sweet trade, but a warrant. Johnny is out on an escort mission with Pawter and Dutch has promised not to bother him. She and D’Avin are going to stop by the bar before they go because he wants to see Sabine, the new bartender. Pawter and Johnny are visiting her family and we get to meet her sister, who seems charming in a scathing insults in a chipper voice sort of way. Her fiance is just as charming. She also gets to see her dad in real life instead of just in hologram form. They seem to really love each other.

After getting D’Avin back, Dutch is dealing with the fact that he remembers seeing her in a memory of Arkyn. The trio have a lot to work on now that they’re back together, Team Awesome Force has to meet with their big bosses to get reinstated, but they are caught off guard by Turin.
