Today is National Superhero Day. Let’s take a moment to acknowledge the superheroes of our television shows.
It’s always fun when superheroes visit one another to offer their help.
Superhero universes will cross when CBS’ Supergirl Kara Danvers meets The CW’s The Flash Barry Allen in the episode “World’s Finest” airing on Supergirl on Monday, March 28 at 8/7c.
When a show has an episode that tugs at your heartstrings due to brilliant writing and stellar acting, that’s a feat that deserves accolades.
For International Women’s Day, let’s salute the superhero females that grace our television screens on such shows as Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.

A strong episode of television is when the writers build upon existing characters and give them the chance to grow. Such was the case in the Supergirl episode titled “Childish Things”.
