Netflix’s Stranger Things has taken the world by storm. ***SPOILER FREE***

The Duffer Brothers have created a classic that will most definitely last for decades. It’s right up there with ET, The Goonies, Lost Boys, Stand By Me, Firestarter, and many many more cult classics. Even paying homage to some of the those and other movies. To top it off, they couldn’t have chosen a better cast, especially the kids.

This Netflix Original series stars Winona Ryder, Matthew Modine, Cara Buono, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin, with a few others starring along with them.
(Remember those kids names, I have a feeling will be seeing them for a long long time)

Set in 1983 in a small Indiana town, 12 year old Will (Schnapp) goes missing after leaving a friend’s house, with the only clue left behind being his bike. After learning her son didn’t make it home the night before, Joyce (Ryder) reaches out to the local sheriff (Harbour). A massive search takes place to no avail….. Will’s best friends (Wolfhard, Matarazzo, and McLaughlin) decide to take matters into their own hands and search for their friend. Along their way they find Eleven (Brown), an unusual young girl who doesn’t speak…..much…….who’s in a hospital gown and has had her head shaven. This is where things take a huge turn for the strange.

Through a series of mysterious events, this tales unravels, involving many people. Every time they think they have the answer, another mystery unveils itself.

Do ghosts actually exist? Are there monsters in the dark? Is there another another world upside down from ours? Are there people out there who actually have powers?  Is there a secret government agency doing experiments? Or have these kids just played a little too much D&D?

Log onto Netflix right now and find out. You will NOT be disappointed! I know I wasn’t! I have now watched the entire series four times…….I may have a problem, but you know what, I don’t care lol. This is a great series. These actors are so brilliant, you truly feel you are right there with them on this crazy adventure.
