Interview with Nik Kacy from @kleffnotes

I had the opportunity to chat with designer, NiK Kacy about their upcoming Equality Fashion Week in Los Angeles. This is the first event of its kind in the LA area and is being run to help give a spotlight to LGBT+ designers and their work, as well as help benefit the LGBT+ community through outreach. The Absolved Book Review from @kleffnotes

Robots and other forms of technology have slowly begun to make human workers obsolete and for those who cannot work, the absolved, there is very little to do beyond exist. When four friends from college decide to video chat with each other one night things a seemingly goofy prank turns into a night of dark and complicated events. Set up as a sort of found footage film E-Demon presents itself as the full recording of a real call between friends that led to a massive multi-state murder. Wildchilds Book Review from @kleffnotes

Eugenia Melian draws upon her own experiences in the modeling industry to create a fiction story of illicit behavior, dangerous people, and love in Wildchilds. The story focuses on a former model named Iris, who left the love of her life and her career after becoming pregnant. After the birth of her daughter, Lou, Iris has decided to stay away from anything modeling related, until something forces her to look back on the life she fled years ago.
