The Voyages of Cinrak the Dapper Book Review from @kleffnotes

Who doesn’t love a good pirate story, especially when it is set in space? The Voyages of Cinrak the Dapper follows the saltiest capybara you will ever find who is both rider of falling stars and the great glass whale. In this collection you will join Cinrak and her crew of animal pirates as they travel far and wide.

Not only is Cinrak and dapper pirate, but she is also a lesbian. In this seven story anthology we see her interact with her beloveds,  the rat Queen Orvilia and the marmot diva Loquolchi, lead soprano of the Theatre Rat-oyal. Beyond her loves she also has Benji her loyal cabin boy, who happens to be a chinchilla, and Agnes, the last of the great krakens. Their journeys will take them on the search for treasure and adventures beyond anything they ever could have dreamed of. You will find yourself immersed in a world where anything is possible and anyone can be a pirate.

A.J. Fitzwater has crafted a fun and delightful story focused on characters, that while not entirely human in appearance, have wonderfully human personalities. The joy we feel in Cinrak in the first chapter focused on the young pirate, establishes the tone for the rest of the book, which is pitch perfect. As we follow Cinrak through her journey as a pirate you will find yourself experiencing the story as though you were there right alongside her. If you are looking for a read that will transport you this is the perfect book for you. You can get your copy of The Voyages of Cinrak the Dapper from Queen of Swords Press today.
