1984 in the 21st Century An Anthology of Essays Book Review ( @riverdaleavenue ) from @kleffnotes

When I was a junior in high school I read George Orwell’s 1984 for the very first time and fell in love. The book has remained one of my favorite reads and I have reread it a number of times since then once even for a very interestingly named grad school course called History of the Future. 1984 in the 21st Century An Anthology of Essays contains writings by those who share my love of this dystopian novel and who see connections between the fictional work and more modern day events. While the text does discuss the current presidency there are also mentions of the Obama Administration as well as various events throughout history.
