Pop Culture Kleffnotes: @HoudiniandDoyle Meet Spring Heel’d Jack

The latest episode of Houdini and Doyle dealt with murders connected to the figure Spring Heel’d Jack from English legend. This video gives a brief history of this murderous being and some connections between this Jack and Jack the Ripper. Who knows, maybe will get to see that saucy man before the season is out. @PreacherAMC Recap: Pilot from @kleffnotes

Preacher premiered on AMC last night at 10 pm and ran for an hour and a half and boy was that hour and a half crammed full of some intense events and character introductions. This might have been one of the bloodiest pilots I’ve ever seen, which has me very excited to check out the rest of the season. Here’s my recap of the first episode of this brand new comic book inspired series. Continue reading “@PreacherAMC Recap: Pilot from @kleffnotes”

My Little Pony Recap: The Saddle Row Review from @kleffnotes

This week’s episode of My Little Pony focused on the opening of Rarity’s new boutique in Manehattan. While she is very excited to read the review it turns out that the other members of the Mane Six accidentally revealed a lot of drama to the reporter who wrote it. For the rest of the drama you’ll just have to read the recap. Continue reading “My Little Pony Recap: The Saddle Row Review from @kleffnotes”

My Kinda Recaps: @A4OSeries Eps 28-30 on @KindaTV from @kleffnotes

The finale of All For One aired yesterday and this My Kinda Recaps video focuses on the last three episodes of the season, with an added thank you to everyone involved in this amazing show. I really want there to be a season two, it definitely needs one. The characters are amazing and there are so many things that we can see them doing still. An election, Monty, the official appearance of Dornie, seriously so many things. I hope you enjoy the video. Continue reading “My Kinda Recaps: @A4OSeries Eps 28-30 on @KindaTV from @kleffnotes”

I think this season of Orphan Black might just kill me, but honestly I can come to terms with that because of just how amazing this show is. Every episode has just kept amping things up and last night’s episode had so much packed into it that I’m just hoping this recap can do it justice. I may not follow a strict chronology, but I will try and cover everything. Continue reading “@OrphanBlack Recap: The Scandal of Altruism from @kleffnotes”

Fangirl Freakouts: #HarleyQuinn Movie from @kleffnotes

It was announced this week that Warner Brothers will be working on a Harley Quinn movie with Margot Robbie and that seemed like the perfect topic for a Fangirl Freakouts video. I give you my thoughts and hopes for the future movie, and do some hinting about wanting to be involved. I mean just in case you are listening DC and Warner Brothers. @StitchersTV Recap: The Guest from @kleffnotes

This week’s Stitchers was a bit different than previous episodes. Instead of following a traditional chronological timeline, the plot instead started at almost the end of the case with Kirsten telling the story in flashbacks. At the end of last week’s episode we learned that Ivy wanted to meet Kirsten and when they meet this week she wants to know all about what Kirsten does and what their father’s work has to do with it. To help explain what she does with the NSA, she can’t just come out and say she stitches into dead people, Kirsten uses their most recent investigation as a way to explain it. @HoudiniandDoyle Breaking the Mold On Period Detective Dramas from @kleffnotes

The series Houdini and Doyle is a clever detective drama that recently began airing on Fox in the United States. I was excited to watch this series as soon as I saw the previews because I love anything involving detectives in London, England. Beyond that I have adored the character Sherlock Holmes for as long as I can remember. Now Sherlock might not appear in this series, but his creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle does. Add a touch of the supernatural, the amazing Rebecca Liddiard, and the setting of London in 1901, I knew I’d be hooked.
