Even If You Don’t Have a Sister, Go See Sisters

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey’s newest comedy Sisters released this past weekend to Star Wars fan filled theaters. While most people are awakening the force I went to the movies to tickle my funny bone. Continue reading “Even If You Don’t Have a Sister, Go See Sisters”

Do You Want a Gremlin?

It’s the holiday season and the perfect time to pull out the holiday classic Gremlins. I know a lot of people watch it around Halloween, we even had it on the Halloween rack at the video store, but this movie is definitely for Christmas time watching. The entire movie uses Christmas as the focus, without Christmas Gizmo never would have been gifted in the first place. If you haven’t heard of the movie Santa Claus Conquers the Martians then you are seriously missing out. This movie made in 1964 is the goofiest holiday movie I have ever seen and I oddly love it. Continue reading “Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the All New #TheWiz”

It’s Alive, Alive!

A wizard and a mutant walk into a bar and meet a criminal mastermind, okay that’s not actually the plot of Victor Frankenstein, but come on I couldn’t resist the references. The movie Victor Frankenstein stars a pretty impressive cast, three of my favorite actors appear in some pretty major roles, and I was just able to go see it. If you’ve been thinking about seeing this movie or have already seen it, check out my review to see what I thought of this supernatural action drama. Continue reading “It’s Alive, Alive!”

Lullaby and Goodnight Mommy

I heard about the movie Goodnight Mommy after the trailer was released online and I heard that it was the creepiest trailer ever. I watched the trailer then and it definitely looked super creepy, so when I got the chance to watch the movie I jumped on it. My expectations for this movie were pretty high and I’m sad to say maybe they were a little too high. Continue reading “Lullaby and Goodnight Mommy”
