With 2019 starting today I wanted to try and do something new for The Nerdy Girl Express. I have been debating about doing an article series that would focus on LGBTQ+ topics, but hadn’t really had the time to sit down and focus on how to start it. Today seemed like the perfect day. Mary just moved back to the town she grew up in and is trying to adjust to suburbia. For the first time in ages she is alone, but only because her kids are still in school. What strikes her about this new neighborhood is that there is an ice cream truck that drives through almost all day long. With strange neighbors and this ice cream truck circling Mary isn’t exactly feeling at ease in her new home. Continue reading “The Ice Cream Truck Movie Review from @kleffnotes”

Beyond buying a bunch of products from her, I also got to talking with her and when her podcast, Is There Gay Stuff In It?, started I was psyched. You can find her LGBTQ+ themed products on the official Butch & Sissy website and for this interview we chatted the business and the podcast. Thanks again to Connie for taking the time to answer all of my questions. Continue reading “Interview with Connie Collingsworth of Butch and Sissy ( @butchandsissy )from @kleffnotes”
