Review of #BufferingBook by @harto ( @deystreet ) from @kleffnotes

Have you ever read a book that you couldn’t put down? You know that the world is happening around you, but you just want to stay focused on the words in front of you, making sure that you take in every single one before you close the book. That was how I felt the moment I picked up Buffering by Hannah Hart. I literally didn’t want to stop reading it, heck I had wanted to be reading it ever since she read excerpts from it on YouTube, so finally having the book in my hands was like finding water in the desert, which is literally something Hart can do. Now everyone has heard of Dracula, but there’s another vampire who appeared in print that I thought fans of Houdini and Doyle would love to hear about. I present to you, Carmilla. Evil Unleashed in Suburban Town, Will Anyone Survive?

Monsters, ghosts, ghouls, and a ventriloquist dummy with a Napoleon complex, sounds like a lot of villains for one movie, but all of those exist in the Goosebumps movie that came out this weekend. If you read any of the R.L Stine books or watched any of the shows on tv this movie is a big ol’ ball of nostalgia. Reader beware you’re in for some laughs.
