Live Tweet Movie Fun: The Covenant from @kleffnotes

Sometimes you just want to watch a movie and hangout with some friends, well if these friends aren’t close enough to actually swing by your house you can still watch together through the magic of Twitter. With the release of a new Captain America: Civil War trailer I had gotten to talking about Sebastian Stan, the Winter Soldier in the Marvel Movie Universe, and while some fangirling occurred, it happens I mean that’s why I make my weekly Fangirl Freakout videos, we realized there was another movie with this handsome gentleman in it from the days of our youth, The Covenant. Catching Up With The Antichrist from @kleffnotes

Tomorrow night will be the second #DevilsNight over on Twitter with me, @kleffnotes, and Erica, @quietlikeastorm. With the two of us getting devilish on Monday nights, first with Lucifer at 9 pm est on Fox and then Damien on A&E at 10 pm est, I thought that this was the perfect time to watch The Omen. Erica is our resident authority on the Antichrist, and I thought that I should get on her level and actually watch the movie that spawned our new Monday show. We have been live tweeting the series together for a few weeks and decided that we would finish up the series in a three episode binge. I wanted to share some of my thoughts and theories about the show now that I’ve finished it. Continue reading “Finishing @JessicaJones from @kleffnotes”

Buffy Live Tweet Update: Giles and Ethan

Now some of you might remember that I’ve been doing random Buffy the Vampire Slayer live tweets after I polled our readers to see what show they wanted me to start binge watching. Now I’ve already watched all of Buffy, but rewatching it gives me a chance to look back at some of my favorite parts of the series. I just finished episode 8 of season 2, The Dark Age, and I got to thinking about how much I wish there had been more Ethan and Giles. Continue reading “Buffy Live Tweet Update: Giles and Ethan”

The Real Villain of Daredevil

I’ve been live tweeting Daredevil for a few weeks with one of the other writers of The Nerdy Girl Express, Erica, and Jonathan White, who we interviewed a while back during our iZombie themed interview series. We have been watching episodes sporadically,  mostly because my work schedule has a tendency to throw a wrench in things. Now I really wanted to watch this show because I knew that Vincent D’Onofrio was playing the villain, Fisk. Well, the more we watch the show the more I realize I’m more afraid of a different character. Continue reading “The Real Villain of Daredevil”
