Why I’m Excited For #OUAT S6 via @stacyamiller85 @OnceABC @LanaParrilla @AdamHorowitzLA

As a fan of fairy tales, (particularly the Snow White saga) when Once Upon a Time premiered on ABC in October 23, 2011, I knew I’d be watching.  I was eager to see a retelling of Snow White’s battle with her stepmother, The Evil Queen as well as her love for Prince Charming.  And this new mythology also introduced Snow and Charming’s daughter, Emma, the baby girl they sent away to save from the queen’s curse as well as a town called Story Brooke, a place different from The Enchanted Forest but in some ways similar due to it’s residents: The characters of the fairy tales like Red Riding Hood, her grandma and the wicked Rumpelstiltskin, who’d challenge the The Evil Queen’s power. Additionally, Emma would grow up to be The Savior, the person who would break the course. This was not my childhood fairy tale, it was something much, much bigger.

@Killjoys Recap: How to Kill Friends and Influence People from @kleffnotes

Were you ready for that finale? I thought I was, but nope! So much happened so let’s get right to the recap. We see Aneela running through the snow of Arkyn with the voice of young Dutch and Khlyen narrating the story. While it sounds like a fairy tale, instead what we see is the first appearance of the green goo and the tests that were done to determine its strength. They used it to grow plants and the tomatoes that grew from them led one man to throw up green goo. Aneela also ate the tomatoes and Khlyen knows that green goo changes people. We see her crying green goo in the snow as Khlyen tells young Dutch to always remember the stories he tells her, especially this one because it is where it all began.
