Sometimes your hoard helps you out and finds brains for you to try. My mom actually found me this recipe and thought it would be a perfect brain for you lovely iZombie fans. While Liv gets her Dungeon Master on, try your hand at mastering these marshmallow brains.
Ingredients:
1 box strawberry jello
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
1 box instant vanilla pudding
20 oz can crushed pineapple
1 bag mini marshmallows (roughly 4 cups)
8 oz Cool Whip or similar generic whipped topping
Put jello powder in a heat safe bowl
Boil one cup water, once boiled pour into bowl with jello powder
Add cold water and stir, place in fridge for roughly 10 minutes or until loosely set
In a larger bowl pour full can of crushed pineapple
Add vanilla pudding mix and stir
Once mixed, add in marshmallows and whipped topping and stir until mixture is completely pink
Cover and let chill in fridge for at least 1 full hour before serving
In all honesty I really don’t like marshmallows or jello. They are my two least favorite foods in the entire world, but my family actually likes them so this dish is totally for them. I will say it does look perfectly brainy.
Keep an eye out for a very special announcement later today during the East Coast airing of iZombie!
