Emily Monroe Is Not The Chosen One: Night Shift Book Review ( @erikschubach ) from @kleffnotes

Emily Monroe is your mostly average twenty-six year old, well except for her slightly powered ability to change her eye color and the color of her nails. Now this sort of power should keep her relatively safe from an onslaught of super villains, but the problem is Emily happens to look just like a mega super powered hero named The Chosen One. This means that even when she is just trying to flip burgers at her crappy night shift job she can’t seem to get away from annoying villains trying to ruin her day. Techromancy Scrolls: Soras Book Review ( @erikschubach ) from @kleffnotes

The world of the Techromancy Scrolls series blends magic, technology, and a medieval world of old. Interview with Kaitlyn Alexander ( @realisticsay ) from @kleffnotes

In August I had the chance to attend FlameCon for the first time ever and while I could only really check out the vendor and artist area, I had the chance to chat through email with one of the guests. Kaitlyn Alexander is a very visible non-binary member of the LGBTQ+ community who you will recognize from Carmilla and their YouTube series, Couple-ish, as non-binary characters LaFontaine and Dee respectively. I greatly appreciate their giving me this opportunity to interview them about their work and their time at FlameCon. Wolverton Issue #2 Kickstarter Campaign from @kleffnotes

The Wolverton comic series initially began as the idea for a movie, but was transitioned into comics. The first issue appeared on the Comic Journal’s best of 2017 list and now the team is working to bring you a second issue through a Kickstarter. The title character Jack Wolverton is entrusted with protecting dangerous and magical artifacts that his family has collected over the years, but while many people would love such a fantastic job, Jack hates magic.
